Wikipedia is a collaboratively edited, multilingual, free access, free content Internet encyclopedia that is supported and hosted by the non-profit Wikimedia™ Foundation. Volunteers worldwide collaboratively write Wikipedias 30 million articles in 287 languages, including over 4.5 million in the English Wikipedia. Anyone who can access the site can edit almost any of its articles, which on the Internet comprise the largest and most popular general reference work. In February 2014, The New York Times reported that Wikipedia is ranked fifth globally among all websites stating, "With 18 billion page views and nearly 500 million unique visitors a month..., Wikipedia trails just Yahoo, Facebook, Microsoft and Google, the largest with 1.2 billion unique visitors."

Wikipedia is the free encyclopedia containing more than 32 million articles in 280 languages, and is the most comprehensive and widely used reference work humans have ever compiled.

Knockoff with ads
Please note this is a copy of a prerelease version of Wikipedias new app, with ads added. Consider waiting for the real thing to be released July 31.
Unethical
This person simply added pop up ads to the official Wikipedia app. Do not download this!
Not bad, so far
This is the only Wikipedia reader that works on iOS6, so I downloaded it (my 3gs only goes up to 6). It worked once, then crashed every time I tried it. So I deleted and re-downloadwd it and it has worked every time since, no problems. However, I originally downloaded it hoping it would play Wikipedias sound clips (as the newer apps do), but it doesnt. Thats a minus. The ads are minimal, Ive only seen one in the short time I have been using it.
